Message	If his boss gives him the radar detector in good faith that it will be used, and then later finds out it was just sold he may feel resentment. His boss might be like, "gee I see how it is you unapreciative bastard, I won't be giving you a x-mas bonus this year...". (<-- extreme case, of course) But if his boss never steps into his car, take the damn thing and put it on ebay. Oh, and I would never turn up any amount of cash. =)
